An Electrospun PVDF-TRFE/Mxene Nanofibours Mat-Based Self-Powered Motion Sensor

Herein, a self-powered motion sensor (SPMS) based on PVDF-TrFE/MXene nanocomposite is newly presented for real-time human motion monitoring. The incorporation of MXene nanosheet into the PVDF-TrFE matrix via the electrospinning process act as a highly negative triboelectric layer with high surface charge density and dielectric constant. The fabricated SPMS exhibited superior performance at low pressure including high electrical output performance (power 4.02 W/m 2 ), excellent mechanical response sensitivity (1.1 V/kPa), and stability (>20000 cycles). Based on its performance, the SPMS was successfully demonstrated to control automatically electrical home appliances and real-time human motion monitoring during the process of walking and running.
